Like Rob doesn't have enough on his plate at the minute. He's been working on a new (old) motor for his '69 Riviera, Lisa's CB550 Chopper, another CM450 cafe, he tuned the '68 Daytona to turn over in one kick and this morning he say's "bring over the big bits for the Triumph Chopper". I threw all the loose parts in the back of my truck and headed over. About 2 hours ago he sends me these.
So here is what we have so far;
'71 Triumph Tiger 650 motor being re-built by Brent from Bronko cycles
'68 front loop with bolt on hardtail
Stock rear wheel
21" mini drum front wheel
stock length DNA springer

Well another season is over.
Well the temps have dropped to single digits and the days are filled with rain and strong winds. Its time to bring the bikes inside and start to think about what changes to make for the next season. We currently have 3 builds in progress so the changes to our personal bikes will be small if any. The Creature will be getting a front brake and a carb swap. Gonna change the S&S super E for a CV and maybe some new pipes. Gazoo will be getting a new tank by either frame swap or cutting down the current frame a little to accommodate the new one. Rob's RD needs a gentle engine massage and new bars.
There is still plenty of work to be done on Lisa's CB, the CM cafe project and the retro Triumph bob/chop to keep us busy over these next few months.
Our mate Jay* is painting up a couple of Biltwell Hustlers for us and we cant wait to see the end results.
